We are honored to announce that the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii has been named by Hawaii Business Magazine in its April issue as one of the “Best Places to Work” in Hawaii for 2014.
According to the magazine, the designation is bestowed on organizations that have engaged its employees by providing a working environment where employees “feel their jobs have a sense of meaning and purpose” and where “they’re willing to give extra effort to help the company succeed.”
Information needed to evaluate Hawaii companies is obtained from employee surveys – where employees are guaranteed anonymity in order to obtain accurate responses. The organization that administers the surveys found that employees at the Best Places to Work generally feel that they are valued in their workplaces, are overall satisfied with the benefits package and other terms of employment, are treated fairly, like the type of work they do and the people with whom they work, and otherwise find positive reasons to work for their employer.
Mahalo to our dedicated employees and Hawaii Business Magazine for this honor.
